What We Do
The National Anti-Doping Organization of Belize is responsible to provide an educational platform for athletes, sporting organizations, and other relevant bodies, the training of Doping Control Officers, along with proper facilities and testing equipment to conduct appropriate testing of athletes.
Localized testing in the past proves that Belize has had athletes using enhancement, steroids, and other drugs in sports. Presently, the fight against doping in sports falls mainly on the shoulders of NADO, who is now ready to develop an anti-doping testing plan and, most importantly, an education program on anti-doping to be shared with all athletes and other relevant personnel in Belize.
